Paul Rudd Praises Jonathan Majors As Kang In Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania

In dramatic news, Jonathan Majors is fired as Kang after receiving a guilty verdict against him, so what's next for the MCU?

Paul Rudd praises Jonathan Majors as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. We have known for some time that we will next see Majors in the Ant-Man threequel. Majors made his MCU debut as an alternate version of Kang within Loki. It would be fair to say audiences loved what little they have seen of the MCU’s next big bad so far. However, after the events of Loki, we can surmise that next time we see Majors in Quantumania, he will be very different.

Rudd, promoting Ghostbusters: Afterlife, recently spoke to Variety about his co-star in the new Ant-Man movie.

“I’ve loved everything he’s done, and I see what he’s doing in this, and I’m knocked out by it,” Rudd told me while promoting Ghostbusters: Afterlife. “It is really fun to bring new people into the fold, and the enthusiasm that people have is palpable.”

I cannot wait to see how Majors plays Kang as opposed to He Who Remains. For one, HWR may be committing some morally dubious acts, but he is doing it to try and stave off the worse versions of himself he’s aware of. Now that HWR is essentially no more, it allows Kang the Conqueror to step forward. Will we find out that Kang’s place outside of time is actually located within the Quantum Realm? I always figured it was possible for that whole TVA set up in Loki to inside the Quantum Realm.

With Kang being present I also wonder if we could see the likes of Sylvie, Mobius, or Renslayer show up? Since we are getting a Loki Season 2, I kinda think we might not see Hiddleston himself, but the others are all fair game potentially.
