Another day, another Spider-Man: No Way Home rumor. This time the Barside Buzz is that press will only get partial preview of Spider-Man: No Way Home and not the full movie. The rumors comes from Big Screen Leaks. BSL’s info is usually very accurate and as such it’s definitely worth listening to this potential rumor. Apparently press will be shown Spider-Man: No Way Home today for the first time. However BSL says they are not getting the full movie. Maybe only 40 minutes?
I've heard only about 40 minutes will be shown but I cannot 100% confirm that.

This screening is not for review purposes but rather so they have enough context and understanding of the movie to do press junkets this weekend. Some of these people will get to see the full movie in a week or so when the premiere happens.

If you’ve got absolutely no idea what those ‘certain spoilers’ might be, then I’m not going to fill you in. However, you’ve done such a great job of staying away from rumors about this movie, I’m not sure you should even have risked this click.
For those that have been following the rumors then you’ll know as well as I do what ‘certain spoilers’ we are probably referring to here. To be honest this makes sense, kinda. If this was truly some big secret, then I’d totally get this approach. Sadly, after early press screenings there will always be one person who makes a burner account and spoils the entire movie. I guarantee you if they did see 40 minutes worth today those entire 40 minutes will be explained online by tomorrow.

However, the ‘certain spoilers’ are about the worst keep secret in Hollywood history, so why keep the pretense going any further? There comes a point here it just becomes prudent to lift the curtain and use the peak behind as a marketing tool. Seemingly we are not there yet. However, unless Sony change their track record, I am expecting spoiler filed TV spots to start hitting screen within a week of No Way Home‘s release. That’s 100% what Sony usually do, so we’ll see if they have learned anything from Marvel yet?
What do you think of this No Way Home rumor? Do you think it’s a good idea that press will only get partial preview of Spider-Man: No Way Home and not the full movie? As always, leave any thoughts about this Barside Buzz in the place below.
