According to two new reports, both claiming to be exclusives, Professor X will appear in Multiverse of Madness. In addition we have Illuminati rumors to cover that spawned from the Prof X stories. Yesterday we shared a story that Wanda would fight someone from the X-Men Universe in this movie. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean the two are the same, but that is the way the buzz seems to be heading. Both That Hashtag Show and Movie Scope (first scoop) both claim exclusivity on the Professor X new. One of them was first out the door, but which I cannot tell you.
However since both reports hit, many other insiders have come out to back the claims up. Here are some revealing details from ViewerAnon. We also have a Reddit user who has gotten things right before saying that there will be an Illuminati group in the movie. The supposed team is also covered by ViewerAnon below.
But because it's out there from other people: Wanda is the villain of the movie and she does have a confrontation with Xavier (and Captain Carter among others, so What If… comes into play)

And since we're talking, last year I hinted that LOGAN might be not be Hugh Jackman's last performance as Wolverine. That's because they wanted him for DOCTOR STRANGE 2 to fight Wanda (and get his ass decimated). Apparently it didn't end up happening.

I don't know if this is a final list and I will stress as always to take things with a grain of salt, but here is who I've heard make up the Illuminati in MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS:

Given the amount of back up these claims have had so quickly from many, it would suggest these claims are legit. It looks like Patrick Stewart is being lined up to be wheeled out one last time, again, for Multiverse of Madness. Intriguing potential Illuminati line up there as well. Not who we would expect to be in the Illuminati. Then again this is a Multiversal Illuminati, perhaps the MCU’s own team will form later?
Why would Monica be in it? Mordo would make sense if he was Sorcerer supreme in another Universe, but Balder the Brave has been been done at all in live-action. Again it is implied that Wanda is the villain of the movie and this group are working against her. Where then does Doctor Strange’s loyalties lie? What about Shuma Gorath, and the hunt for America Chavez. There’s so much going on in Multiverse of Madness that this one is going to get crazy.
