Rambo: Last Blood Trailer Teases The Return Of A Legend

Wait…did this just happen? Did this trailer actually get me excited to see another Rambo movie? Yeah, that just happened. I’ve been pretty outspoken about my complete disinterest in seeing this franchise return for one last outing. As far as Stallone characters go, I’d much rather continue on with the Rocky franchise than the depressing world of Rambo. But apparently Stallone had a solid idea to bring things to a close, so here we are.

The trailer for Rambo: Last Blood opens up on some country house, with John Rambo on a rocking chair, with a grizzled voiceover courtesy of Stallone. He contemplates the lives he’s witnessed come to an end and the dark past he needs to confront. Whether he likes it or not, that past is coming to get him, and we’ll be the ones to benefit seeing its violent outcome.

Between the mostly-country setting to his Home Alone-esque booby traps, this movie looks like a good mix between personal struggle and the violent spectacle we’ve come to expect from a Rambo film.

If nothing else, I have some real Logan vibes here, and while I may not be in the theaters on day one, they now have my interest. But what about you? Were you sold on this trailer? Let us know your thoughts down below!
