It is a movie that is twelve years in the making. Literally.

In the ambitious film from Richard Linklater, “Boyhood” chronicles the life of a young boy from age 5 to age 18. The film uses the same actors of Ella Coltrane, Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke and Lorelei Linklater throughout the entire movie.

The family drama had a special screening presentation in Los Angeles last week. Latino-Review was invited to cover the red carpet event with the actors and director in attendance.

We managed to score red carpet interviews with Coltrane and Arquette during their brief moment on the carpet.

“Boyhood” is scheduled to be in theaters on July 18.
