Renata Pinheiro and Sergio Oliveira on Machine Revolution in King Car [Exclusive Interview]

King Car

The human race never learns from its reliance on technology and machines. One day, they’ll turn on us. As in the Brazilian film King Car, the automobiles seek to rule and turn the human race into their slaves.

Although it sounds like another Terminator or Titane film, the movie follows a young man’s ability to surreally speak with cars, which sparks a revolution that could save his community. When his invention inadvertently accelerates the underlying problems, our hero’s quest puts him in a fight for survival and capitalism zombies.

The movie stars Luciano Pedro Jr., Matheus Nachtergaele, Clara Pinheiro, Jules Elting, and with the voice of Tavinho Teixeira. Renata Pinheiro wrote and directed the film with co-writing credits to Sergio Oliveira and Leo Pyrata.
