Robert Pattinson Wants His Batman To Be Frightening

In the midst of a Star Wars frenzy let us turn our attention toward another beloved franchise, Batman. Matt Reeves upcoming Dark Knight film, titled The Batman, has had a long road getting to this point, long before the director even came on board.

Lately, we’ve had some regular movement on the film with a couple of big-name castings in Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and Paul Dano as the Riddler. Pattinson recently talked about what he has in mind for his version of Batman while promoting his new film The Lighthouse, you can check the video below.

Frightening is something that Batman should be, at least to the thugs and criminals he brings to justice. I was always under the impression that scaring criminals was part of the whole schtick of Batman. Some fans were none too pleased with Pattinson’s casting but I for one and more than willing to wait and see what he has to bring to the character, and judging from what he had to say above he isn’t going to phone in the role.

The Batman has an expected release of June 2021.
