Rosario Dawson Hypes Ahsoka At Chicago Expo

Rosario Dawson hypes up Ahsoka in an appearance at Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo this past weekend. Dawson talked about more than just Star Wars, though decided to hype up Ahsoka a little for the audience.

In the video below taken at the Expo from @laughing_place, Dawson talks about how one episode has so far been cut together. After watching it she says director Dave Filoni called it a ‘religious experience’.

I know, star hypes up there own upcoming star vehicle, more news at 10. Yep, there’s nothing gargantuan here. Perhaps if she has said Filoni was crying because it was so bad, it would be a bigger story? However, Dawson also shared that they are only half way through filming. The Ahsoka star then used this tactic to dodge questions about whether a certain Grand Admiral will show up? Though, Dawson did say Thrawn’s name was dropped in Mando for a reason.

As for Thrawn, LRM are sticking to the last report we heard, that Lars Mikkelsen has been cast for the live-action role. This report has indeed been contested by other outlets in recent months. Information has been locked down tight from Lucasfilm recently and our sources have puckered up tighter than a mouse’s …

Anyway, as we know Ahsoka is in production right now, and currently set for release in the Spring of next year. That’s not official, all that’s official is 2023. However Ahsoka is the next show following on from Mando S3 and that’s in February, so Spring or Summer for Ahsoka seems sensible.

What do you think as Rosario Dawson hypes up Ahsoka at the Chicago Expo?
