Finding You is a romantic film that has something for everyone. Ireland is the backdrop. There’s plenty of violin and fiddle music. Even comedic moments in falling in love with a celebrity. The film was a no-brainer for Rose Reid to play the lead character of Finley Sinclair.

The film also stars Jedidiah Goodacre, Katherine McNamara, Patrick Bergin, Saoirse-Monica Jackson with Tom Everett Scott and Vanessa Redgrave.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Finding You is an inspirational romantic drama full of heart and humor about finding the strength to be true to oneself. After an ill-fated audition at a prestigious New York conservatory, violinist Finley Sinclair (Rose Reid) travels to an Irish coastal village to begin her semester studying abroad. At the B&B run by her host family, she encounters gregarious and persistent heartthrob movie star Beckett Rush (Jedidiah Goodacre), who is there to film another installment of his medieval fantasy-adventure franchise. As romance sparks between the unlikely pair, Beckett ignites a journey of discovery for Finley that transforms her heart, her music, and her outlook on life. In turn, Finley emboldens Beckett to reach beyond his teen-idol image and pursue his true passion. But when forces surrounding Beckett’s stardom threaten to crush their dreams, Finley must decide what she is willing to risk for love.

Brian Baugh directed and wrote the adapted screenplay from Jenny B. Jones’ novel titled “There You’ll Find Me.”

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with actress Rose Reid on learning the violin and fiddle for this romance story set in Ireland. She detailed her character development and acting alonside with Jedidiah Goodacre.

Rose Reid is an actress and writer, who was raised in southern Nashville Tennessee. Her previous project was with the drama The World We Make, which is based on the story she wrote. Other films she was a part of included Sweet Sweet Summertime and the biopic I’m Not Ashamed, based on the first student murdered in the Columbine High School shooting. Earlier this year, Reid starred in Lifetime Channel’s A Welcome Home Christmas with Jana Kramer.
