While Marvel is breaking box-office records, DC still doesn’t know for sure who is going to play their most popular character in an upcoming film. After much back and forth over whether or not Ben Affleck would return to the role of Batman, the latest rumor poses that the Oscar-winner wants to stay on as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The rumor comes from a Los Angeles-based writer whose Twitter handle is DanielR. You can check out the post below.
Tag it under rumor for now; I hear Ben Affleck now wants to stick around as the DCEU's Batman.

Of course, this information should be taken with the usual massive grain of salt, but you never know, especially with the indecisiveness of the last few months concerning Affleck’s intentions.

At one time, Ben Affleck was attached to write, direct and star in The Batman, that proved to be too much, and understandably so, Matt Reeves was brought in and Affleck portraying the Bat was again brought into question. Personally, I enjoy Affleck’s Batman, I think the guy is more skilled as a writer and director than an actor (not to say he is a bad actor), but he makes for a good Bruce Wayne. I hope that Affleck stays on, if for nothing else to keep the role consistent.
