Some great news as Star Wars creator George Lucas is said to have contributed in at least a small way (or perhaps not so small) to Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian. This juicy rumor comes by way of MakingStarWars says that Lucas contributed some mythology surrounding Jedi Master Yoda.

The outlet is reporting that they were in the area of the set and were shown photos of five or so puppets, in different stages of completion that were the same species as Yoda. According to MakingStarWars they will be part of the sixth episode of the first season, of which Lucas helped with the story. Also, it is said that Yoda’s species will finally receive a name.

With the show being set around seven years after the events of Return of the Jedi, Master Yoda will not be making an appearance, I would assume anyway, however, it appears that others like him will be showing up, and who knows, they could possibly be relavtives of the revered Jedi Master.

I am all in on The Mandalorian, in fact, I may be more excited for this series than I am for The Rise of Skywalker, but, that very well may change come Monday, when we are supposely getting a new trailer.
