Rumored Plot And Characters Of The Acolyte | Barside Buzz

According to the Barside Buzz, an official trailer for The Acolyte is being prepared, plus the episodes will not be over an hour in length.

A rumored plot and characters of The Acolyte has showed up over the last couple of days from two new leakers claiming to know a few details. Of course, for now, we have no reason to assume these leaks are correct. Normally I would not share until someone I have more trust in backs it up. However, I figured since there is so much intrigue about The Acolyte, I would share what I found. If this ends up being correct, then that’s on you. I can’t answer that question and you take your own risks here.

These two leakers, one called @nuruodo1 on Twitter and the other a Reddit U/Aesokas user who created this Thread claim to have seen concept art for the show. Both are working together off the same details as far as I can tell. Now it’s worth noting that these leakers shared some (now verified) leaks from Tales of the Jedi. These leaks confirm a major death that occurs during one of the episodes. With it being confirmed, I won’t post that here. I think perhaps this is what is giving some veracity to the latest Acolyte rumors, and there were more Tales of the Jedi story details shared.

Let’s get into things, and we will start with the claimed rough identities of some previously leaked codenames.

Characters of the Acolyte (Codenamed)

Aura – Lead role played by Amanda Stenberg

Miri – Aura’s younger sister.

Paul – The Sith Lord – Only 1 Season, dies at the end (to be explained later)

Theo- -Grandfather of Aura and Miri – Guest star for two episodes. Looking for established actor of color in 60s to 70s.

Penn – friend of Aura, fellow acolyte. CGI Character – Male

Plot

Aura comes from a village that is regularly attacked by tribal non-sentient creatures. Jedi come to protect them in exchange for taking some children to train as Jedi. Aura is deemed too old. However her sister is chosen and taken away by the Jedi. It is this catalyst which causes her to eventually join the acolytes (more below), at the end of the second episode the Jedi come too late, Theo dies and Miri is taken by the Jedi, and the Jedi won’t let her visit.

Aura and Penn become acolytes. The suggestion is that a group of individuals are competing to become a Sith apprentice. Sometimes being sent on missions and sometimes against one another. Aura and Penn are not that great on their own, but together they are a formidable force against the other acolytes.

Penn is political and mystical. Aura is a strong fighter and duelist. Aura wants to win the acolyte program to go get her sister back.

There is also a description of some concept art, namely Aura’s home planet Here, copied from social media. Feel free to check it out if you like, though, I could save you the trouble by saying it’s Marshy with large mountains.

Once again I’ll state I cannot say if this is just someone playing a game, or if this concept art has really been seen by these individuals? Ultimately  we may not find out for a long time, so just keep this one in mind once some official details start to hit, or leaks from established sources. The pair claim they will post the concept art online eventually, like they did with the Tales of the Jedi leak previously. nevertheless, even some art might not legitimize these claims fully.

What do you think of the rumored plot and characters of The Acolyte from this potential leak? As always, leave any thoughts below, or on Discord.
