Sabine actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo confirms that the Ahsoka series happens at the same time as Mando Season 3. The timeline of the MandoVerse has always been a bit hard to gauge without official word on the matter. Until this point we could not say exactly where Ahsoka would fall in the MandoVerse timeline. Some time passed between Mando S2 and S3, so Ahsoka could have happened straight after Ahsoka meets Mando for the last time in Book of Boba Fett. Or, Ahsoka’s events could have taken place after the battle to reclaim Mandalore had been won in Mando Season 3.
However, in a recent interview with Total Film/SFX/Games Radar, Natasha Liu Bordizzo says Ahsoka happens at the same time as Mando Season 3.
“I think it’s hard not to feel part of something bigger,” Bordizzo admits to SFX magazine in the new issue, which features Good Omens season 2 on the cover. “Ahsoka runs along the same timeline as The Mandalorian season 3, and the shows are all connected. There’s just so many parallels.”
I guess this is also a good way to explain why both groups are busy and unable to help one another? You know fans like to query that sort of thing in shared universes.

Talking of shared universes, there is also a MandoVerse movie coming up, directed by Dave Filoni. So one would assume Sabine Wren has to be in it, right? Well according to Bordizzo, she has no idea. Bordizzo claims no one has told her if she’s in the movie or not yet.
“When I heard they were doing the movie, at Celebration in London [in April], I was like, ‘Maybe one day I’ll find out whether I’m a part of that!'” she laughs. “This is one of those times when I can so happily tell you I have no idea what’s going on with that. I’m happy not to, because that way I don’t have to lie to you!”
You’d have to say Sabine’s a good bet to appear in the movie. Unless she somehow gets killed off in Ahsoka? However, perhaps the script is not finished? Therefore Dave Filoni isn’t ready to tell anyone they are in the movie?
