Scrap | Vivian Kerr on Narrative Story of Plight of Homelessness

Anthony Rapp and Vivian Kerr in Scrap

The Los Angeles story is too familiar with homelessness. For this year alone, it is estimated that there are more than 75,000 homeless persons in the City of Angels.

In the feature film directorial debut from Vivian Kerr, she addresses the issue of Los Angeles homelessness in a narrative fictional story of a mother struggling to recover and admit her issue with homelessness.

The film stars Kerr in the lead role along with co-stars Anthony Rapp (Star Trek: Discovery), Lana Parrilla (The Lincoln Lawyer), Khleo Thomas (Holes), Beth Dover (Orange is the New Black), Brad Schmidt (The Birth of a Nation), and Julianna Layne (A Christmas Story Christmas).

Here is the official synopsis:

After getting laid off, a single mom (Kerr) struggles to hide her homelessness from her estranged brother (Rapp) and his wife (Parrilla).
