Mixed martial arts are the top hand-to-hand sport to watch in this century’s audience. In the octagonal ring, fighters of different styles come face-to-face in matches that could leave losers permanently crippled due to the dangers.

The inspirational mixed martial arts action film, Born a Champion, follows an up-and-coming martial artist who balances his life between family and might inside the ring.

Sean Patrick Flanery starred and wrote the story with Alex Ranarivelo as an homage to the jujitsu he personally trained with in real life. Also, Katrina Bowden and Dennis Quaid star in the film.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Dennis Quaid and Sean Patrick Flanery headline this powerful martial arts action film about the love for family and the drive for greatness. Can the aging underdog get back into shape in time to vanquish his foe, get revenge, and claim his prize?
