Yesterday saw the first looks at several Marvel Disney+ shows during Superbowl. If you did not catch this trailer mash-up then take a look for yourselves in the video above.
Now Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky Barnes in Falcon and the Winter Soldier has released another new image on Instagram. Check it out.
The image does look like one shot from the trailer, but clearly this is from a different angle, or a different moment from that of the trailer. It kinda looks like Bucky is listening, or sensing something worrying that Sam Wilson does not. Of course, without context this could be literally anything at this point.
For me the most interesting part of the trailer was the very brief glimpse we saw of US Agent and someone else I can’t name. I do get the feeling, that perhaps those Thunderbolts rumors were true. Could the creation of a new ‘Avengers’ team featuring villains be the drive that brings Sam and Bucky back together?
That’s merely conjecture and speculation on my part. However, Full Circle Cinema did start a rumor recently that they had heard this would be the jump-off point for Thunderbolts. Perhaps that rumor is clouding my judgment here a little? You can check the context of that story in our related section below.

For now, we will have to make do with a very brief glimpse of the show we got to see in the trailer above. Another rumor places the show’s air date around august of this year, so we could well find out a lot more about what is going on before it appears on screen. As the first of the live-action Disney+ Marvel shows to hit the new streaming service, I can’t wait to see goodies are in store for us. WandaVision looks compelling because of how nuts it looks. For now, though, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the one I am most looking forward to seeing for myself.
