According to a new report by The Ronin, the Secret Invasion working title will be Jambalaya. Now, as always with these working titles, take this with a pinch of salt. Remember that everyone was convinced that the working title of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was Goat Rodeo. We at LRM were the first to say that was wrong and Goat Rodeo was actually the working title of Captain Marvel 2, now called The Marvels. But prior to that many outlets were convinced of that incorrect information.
It’s also something I stress every time we cover a working title and I’ll do it again here. A working title is rarely indicative of any aspect of the movie itself. Therefore, the only real benefit to knowing a working title is to identify what project is shooting when they do location shoots.
Secret Invasion’s cast already consists of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Skrull leader Talos, Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and most recently actor Christopher McDonald. We still have no current idea of the roles anyone is playing outside of Jackson and Mendelsohn.

Currently we do not have a release date for Secret Invasion. However, we expect Secret Invasion will not begin filming until later this year. Outside of the rumored but unconfirmed Young Avengers series, Secret Invasion looks set to be the biggest Disney+ show yet. The cast is already tremendous and likely we have many more to be announced.
Of course the plot of Secret Invasion is under wraps. Yet, I think most fans would say they have a fair idea where the show is going to go. It seems likely that Secret Invasion will be based on the comic run of the same name. Ergo, we should expect to see a story involving Skrulls infiltration various organizations on Earth. What will be interesting is if we get some Skrulls who are masquerading as heroes.
What do you think of the Secret Invasion working title if legit? As always, leave any thoughts below.
