Secretive Secret Invasion Talk From Emilia Clarke

Secret Invasion Is Set During The Blip According To Kevin Feige

Emilia Clarke talks about how secretive Secret Invasion is in a recent appearance on the Happy, Sad, Confused Podcast. You can listen to the full podcast from the link, but here is what Clarke said about Secret Invasion, which was not much. Clarke appears to be genuinely concerned about breaking any spoiler rules.

“The first people I spoke to with Marvel was their security team… I live in fear that something is going to happen, I’m going to say something, they’ll get upset… I play a character that I’m super into everything about it.”

It’s only paranoia if they are not really watching you. Well, Marvel really are watching you Emilia, so be careful out there amongst us scoop hungry geek Journalists. There are of course some details we already know or can guess when it comes to Secret Invasion. We know that the show will star Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn as Fury and Talos respectively. Based on the comics we can assume we will see a lot more Skrulls on Earth as well.

However, as for who Clarke could be playing in the show, who knows? one would imagine this is a sizeable rile or else I doubt Clarke would have signed on. Some fans have guessed Emilia Clarke could be playing the Skrull queen, i.e. the chief antagonist, but really that’s pure speculation for now.

In the mean time, we fans will have to do our best to piece together the puzzle of this secretive Secret Invasion show. After all, that’s a but part of the fun of this geek culture to me. I never want full spoilers, just enough snippets to let us speculate wildly and often wrongly.

As always, leave any thoughts you have below.
