Set Video Reveals Hailee Steinfeld’s Role In Disney+’s Hawkeye Series

Hailee Steinfeld confirmed!

Everyone is looking forward to Marvel’s Phase 4. Any type of news we can get during this time is a plus. While Marvel is already well established on the big screen, the small screen is where they have not fared as well. They have learned from the past and look to completely change that concept. Fans have a lot to look forward to on Disney+. Loki, The Falcon and Winter Solider, She-Hulk and WandaVision are just a few of the treats we have coming our way. These series will also bring the big names from the MCU, plus some newcomers. Another Disney+ series to look forward to is Hawkeye which just confirmed a crucial role through a set video. Long-rumored Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit) has been confirmed as Kate Bishop in the series!

Since late 2019, Steinfeld has been in talks for a role in Hawkeye. Now she will join Jeremy Renner in the series. The confirmation came through a set video taken in Brooklyn, New York. Credit to MCU.Plus

Hailee Steinfeld brings a lot to the table and should be a good cast for the role. In the comics, Kate Bishop becomes Clint Barton’s mentee and eventually dons the mantle of Hawkeye. She later becomes a part of the Young Avengers. If the series is successful, maybe we could see Steinfeld in her own series down the line. Otherwise, I could see this being somewhat reflective of what we saw in Arrow with Oliver and Roy Harper, but on a larger scale. I’m definitely interested!
