With the original film being a success a Shazam 2 was at least in one way, like Thanos, inevitable. The film will bring back star Zachary Levi, and director David F. Sandberg. A few months ago Sandberg said he is still fine-tuning the script for Shazam 2, the director came across some reviews for the film, which hasn’t been shot yet. Sandberg took this as an opportunity to get some early word out for the film. Check out his Twitter post down below.

What a gnarly way to handle the situation. The exclamation idea is something that should be kept in the title. Some of the most unusual reviews I’ve ever read for a film. Even for a film that people have actually watched. Now, there is one explanation that would make these reviews legit. Stay with me, you probably know what’s coming, the reviewers are time travelers and they actually have seen the film.
Things for DC have been on an upswing due to a string of well-received films that along with Shazam! includes Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and last but not least, the film that snagged DC another Oscar, Joker. Dc also has a film coming out next year that has garnered, let’s say, mild interest from fans Zack Snyder’s now-famous version of Justice League known as The Snyder Cut.
Shazam! is easily the most fun one can have watching a DC film. With a lighter vibe than past DC efforts, the film’ won over both audiences and critics. Shazam 2 currently has a release date of November 2022.
