Sideshow Review | Unboxing Harley Quinn Hell On Wheels Statue And Others

Sideshow

Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out my column!  For returning and new readers I go over what Sideshow Collectables is releasing this month, and what new item I received this month from Sideshow.  I would have released this column early in the month but had to wait for my new item to be shipped.  I ordered a Harley Quinn: Hell on Wheels statue that was the exclusive edition, they give you two heads to choose from to display her.  The cost was about $575 plus the shipping and will have a video of me taking her out of the box and showing you what she looks like, at the bottom of this column.  This company has a ton to offer for fans of pop culture, no matter what you are into.  They seem to manage to cover everything from movies, comics, cartoons, and television shows.  Worth checking out the site to see what they have and you might see something you would love to have added to your collection.

Sideshow offers two types of Scarlet Witch statue preorders to choose from this month.  One is 1:10 scale with a height of 14 inches and priced at only $210 with a flex plan that brings it to about $63 a month.  This is the cheaper Scarlet Witch statue but not a detailed though as the other one.  The next Scarlet Witch statue is the premium format statue that costs $600 with a layaway plan starting at $67 a month.  This one is my favorite one to buy this month and not because of the Disney show.  I have always been a fan of this character because she is a super-powerful character in the Marvel comic world.  She can take out almost anyone in the Marvel Universe and took out the mutants by simply saying, “No more mutants”.  The premium statue has a cape that you can bend and flex to any shape to display her.

There is a great Fine Art Print available for preorder on Sideshow this month Batgirl: The Last Joke by Ian MacDonald, that is limited and only cost $95 framed or unframed.  The size for this print is 18 x 24 inches, print is also embossed with a seal of authenticity.  The other new poster is The Justice League by Thomas Kinkade, which measures 12 x 18 and would make a great centerpiece for any collection.  The price for this is $175 framed or unframed.

A fun one that is available for preorder this month is from an old cartoon show and comic book as well as Teela from Masters of the Universe.  She stands at a close 19 inches tall and with of 13 inches, it comes with two different hairstyles in the exclusive edition, which cost $489.  The collector edition does not have that option and costs $475.  Both have layaway plans starting at $71 a month and a nice addition to your Maters of The Universe collection.  This is the next statue in the series they are releasing for all the Masters of the Universe line.

For the die-hard Harley Quinn and Joker fans, there is a new diorama that is up for preorder this month.  It is a very detailed diorama and again a perfect fit for the die-hard fan base.  The price for this item is $530 and Sideshow does have a layaway plan starting at $59 a month.  The height is about 14 inches and 11 inches wide, and will not take up a lot of space on your shelf.  I like this one because it shows that Harley in charge but the Joker is going along for the ride.

For Batman fans here is something different but kind of neat as well.  Ninja Batman 2.0 which is $270 with a layaway plan starting at $60 a month, or Ninja Batman 2.0 Deluxe with Horse.  This is $370 with layaway plans starting at $66 a month. They do sell the Samurai Horse only which will cost you $149 with a layaway plan at $67 a month.  Again this is something very different from the normal Batman collections out there right now.  The Batman in this is super detailed with the ninja costume to include swords and cape.

So these are just a few of the items that are available right now at Sideshow Collectables, but they do release new weekly items, if not daily items on this site.  For me, I received my Harley Quinn: Hell on Wheels statue.  I was very impressed with the detail she has and liked that she has on roller skates while holding a hammer.  The statue comes with two different heads to pick and change when displaying her.  I made a video of me taking her out of the box and putting together below this column and a few pictures of her with both heads on her.  I hope you enjoyed my review of Sideshow this month and please look around our site for other great columns, stories, and videos to watch!  Also, go to www.sideshowcollectables.com to buy yourself something or get a gift for a fellow fan of pop culture.
