Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Take On The Paranormal In Amazon’s Truth Seekers

Today Amazon Prime announced a new spooky, spine-tingling Amazon Original series titled, Truth Seekers. This eight-episode paranormal comedy comes from some familiar names. Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, who you may remember from films like Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End. This series will launch in over 240 countries and territories worldwide just in time for Halloween. Along with the series announcement, they have also released the series’ first trailer. Truth Seekers takes us on an adventure of a team of part-time paranormal investigators that have come together to uncover and film ghostly sightings all over the UK. They then share it for everyone to see on their online channel. But as you can see in the trailer, their curiosity into the unknown may lead them into uncovering a deadly conspiracy.

Here is the synopsis for Truth Seekers provided by Amazon Prime Video.
Truth Seekers is a supernatural comedy drama series about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see. However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race.

Joining Frost and Pegg are Sason Kayo, Malcolm McDowell, Emma D’Acry, and Susan Wokoma. Truth Seeker is co-written by Pegg, Frost, Nat Saunders, and James Serafinowicz who executive produce alone with Miles Ketley and Jim Field Smith, who is also the director.
