Bryan Singer has been using his Instagram for the past week to offer some glimpses behind-the-scenes of X-Men: Apocalypse. While most of it has been harmless looks at props (Xavier’s chairs, a model of the mansion, etc), his last post offered up some concept art being using for the design of the film. The designer in question is Grant Major, who was also the Production Designer for the Lord of The Rings trilogy.
Here’s what Singer shared:
Some production art. #XmenApocalypse #GrantMajor I was a little busy but will continue to snap more.

What do you make of it? What do you think this depicts? I just woke up, and haven’t had any coffee yet, so I can’t be expected to THINK yet.
Singer also promised to share some more X-Men: Apocalypse artwork soon. But, in the mean time, here are some of those behind-the-scenes glimpses I mentioned:
I know. Old door. But there'll be something new behind it. #XmenApocalypse

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to blast into theaters on May 27, 2016. It’s set to follow up the events depicted in last year’s smash hit, X-Men: Days of Future Past.
