Spider Baby Red Carpet Premiere Interviews

Spider Baby

The 1967 black & white film Spider Baby or, the Maddest Story Ever Told by Jack Hill is one of the weird cult horror classics ever made. For horror director Dustin Ferguson, it was a no-brainer to re-adapt the film for modern audiences in color.

The film tells a tale about a pair of greedy relatives who try to repossess the Merrye Estate. But the inbred children will protect their home and bloodline at all costs.

The cast includes Beverly Washburn (Old Yeller, Star Trek), Brinke Stevens (Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity, The Slumber Party Massacre), Robert Mukes (House of 1000 Corpses, Westworld), Ron Chaney (Mach 2, Agents of Project Blue Book), Peter Stickles (Shortbus, Showgirls 2: Penny’s from Heaven), Traci Burr (Hell of the Screaming Undead, Beyond the Gates of Hell), Jennifer Moriarty (Bloomfield, Stokes River Haunting), and Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project, Eternal Code). Dustin Ferguson directed and wrote the movie.
