Spider-Man 3 might have to add yet another one to the guest list. Jake Gyllenhaal’s stand-in was spotted on the set of the film yesterday. While this isn’t any official confirmation, I think it’s safe to assume the Mysterio actor isn’t just hanging out at the set, with his stand-in. You can check out the tweet below from cosmic.

With the rumors that have been recently surrounding the film, this one seems tame, almost boring. That’s not a knock on Gyllenhaal or Mysterio, I thought he and the character were awesome. It’s just much less surprising that Mysterio would return than say characters from other big-screen versions of Spidey, such as Sam Raimi’s trilogy, that starred Toby Maguire, and the films led by Andrew Garfield. It seems as if there are new rumors almost every day concerning actors from other iterations of the web-slinger.
Taking into account the success of the animated Spider-Man: Into The SpiderVerse, along with the title of Doctor Strange’s sequel film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, and the swirling rumors about Maguire and Garfield making appearances, this live-action SpiderVerse seems likely to happen in Spider-Man 3. Kevin Feige recently gave fans a confirmation of sorts, but not completely
