That may read like a clickbait title, it’s not, as the latest Spider-Man 4 rumors suggest Peter Parker being side-lined by Spider-Man. Specifically that Peter will go so deep into Spider-Man because no one remembers Peter. The sources is Alex P from TCC who did a Q&A this weekend. Check out what Alex has heard about Spider-Man 4.
“The idea now moving forward is to give him a sense of independence. In his mind, Peter Parker is no more… but Spider-Man lives on. Since he has either lost or detached himself from everyone he’s ever loved, all he has to keep him going is being Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not. And as the title of Spider-Man continues to consume Peter’s life little by little, Peter Parker will take a back seat and continue to fade from existence slowly. This story point can be compared to Robert Pattinson’s Batman in The Batman.”
Of course we’ve heard many other rumors about this film already. Far as we know there is no finished script so there could remain lots of changes. Sony and Marvel are said to not completely agree on the direction the movie will take. Last we heard Marvel were successful in getting their wish of a street level movie, but who knows for sure?
We’ve also heard that Daredevil and Ant-Man could show up in Spider-Man 4 alongside a villainous Kingpin.

Alex did have a few other claims to add in this Q&A whch we will cover in another article. However when Alex was asked to rate the chances of The Amazing Spider-Man 90’s cartoon being revived he said;
“On a scale of 1-10, the chances for a continuation of Spider-Man: The Animated Series will be about 7.”
It was never called The Animated Series like X-Men but keeping that there for accuracy. Since the very successful launch of X-Men 97′ many fans are wondering if TASM from the same universe can also be resurrected by Marvel.
I loved both those cartoons in my youth and the cross-overs were kinda cool at times. Would love to see it, but Marvel already has a new Spider-Man cartoon to promote. Therefore, we shall see?
