Spider-Man: All Six Live-Action Films Ranked Worst To Best | LRM Ranks It

Welcome to LRM Ranks It the new video feature where two LRM writers share their personal rankings for various properties! Be it comic book movies or Star Wars-related, you’d better believe we have opinions on what’s good, what’s bad, and what’s best.

This week, The Cantina columnist Kyle Malone and Breaking Geek columnist Nick Doll go head-to-head on their own personal favorite rankings for the Spider-Man franchise. Rest assured, we are covering the main three generations of live-action Spider-Man films. So which versions can we expect to see? Of course, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy will be there, Mark Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man duology, and finally, Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first MCU entry.

Sadly, if you’re a TV or animated Spidey fan, this won’t be the video for you — but who knows, maybe that’ll be a new video down the line! Scream at us enough in the comments and the sky’s the limit! But to start, we figured the most accessible and popular versions of the character will do…but which is the best?

Each iteration of the franchise has their own strengths and weaknesses. Tobey Maguire was the first, but was also 87 years old. Andrew Garfield was a great Spidey, but his Peter Parker was too smooth. Finally, Tom Holland finally nails the Peter Parker angle perfectly, but his film is so happy-go-lucky and lacks the true consequences that made the comics popular.

What are your favorite Spidey flicks? Let us know down below!

Look forward to a new LRM Ranks every Tuesday going forward!
