Spider-Man: Far From Home – Director Jon Watts Lets Fans In On Nick Fury’s Mission In The Film

How about that new Spider-Man: Far From Home footage? Some trailer, right? I mean, a few years ago I may have described that trailer with a word such as, amazing, but that doesn’t seem to fit anymore so I will go with, hmm, spectacular. This Spider-Man adventure is playing host to genuine Marvel royalty in Sam Jackson’s, Nick Fury.

And according to he film’s director Jon Watts, this isn’t a Nick Fury like we have seen before, having freshly been unsnapped by what I like to call “The Stark Reset – 42619.” Watts recently spoke with Fandango, and gave fans an idea of the kind of Nick Fury to expect as well as what his mission is, spoiler alert, he’s pretty good at doing this. You can check it out below.

“Well, that was what was very exciting to me because this is a version of Nick Fury I don’t think we’ve ever seen, which is a Nick Fury who is playing catch-up. He disappeared for five years and the world changed dramatically in his absence, and here he is trying to put together a new team.

Watts continued revealing Nick Fury’s broad objective.

“Yes, Spider-Man and Mysterio are being recruited to tackle this threat of the Elementals. That’s what Nick Fury does, but now things are crazier than usual.”

Told ya. The last team Nick Fury assembled went what, 3-1? Or would you say that’s now rectified to 4-0? Would you consider 4-1 to be a possibility? The film looks to be another better than good film from Marvel, Feige, and Watts. Oh and Tom Holland, the definitive cinematic Spider-Man, he probably helped as well, along with MJ, Ned, and how can you not be happy to see Happy again. I mean, Marvel had my money on this film the moment Homecoming.

Anyone else think that Mysterio guy is up to something?  Let us know in the comments down below!
