Spider-Man: Far From Home Gets Clean Character Posters And Ugly Standard Posters

As amazing as Avengers: Endgame was, I’ve honestly been a lot more excited for what the future holds in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Not only is it the sequel to one of my favorite movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also looks like it takes so much joy in just…existing. Few times have I smiled as much as I did with that very first trailer, and it got me excited at the prospect of a lower-stakes story.

But marketing has understandably been light(ish). Given the spoilerific nature of the plot (spoilerific to Avengers: Endgame that is), they needed to hold back for a bit. But with that movie cleanly in our rearview mirror, Sony can now go full steam ahead with their marketing, and they’ve done just that with a whole batch of character posters, showing off Peter Parker himself, MJ, Nick Fury, and the movie’s villain, Mysterio.

Now I actually happen to love these posters, so you can imagine how I would feel about one that combines all the assets. Normally, I’d love them, but in this case…nah. It’s ugly as hell.

This uglier poster also has a slightly less ugly Mysterio-themed variant, which you can check below.

What do you think of the new posters? What other kinds of marketing material do you want? Let us know down below!
