Spider-Man Producer Amy Pascal Hints At Sinister Six For The Future On Spider-Man: Far From Home Featurette

Away back before Spider-Man was even hinted at being included in the MCU, we had the Amazing Spider-Man movies made by Sony. We know they had plans to eventually make a Sinister Six movie and that Drew Goddard was attached to it in some capacity. Of course, that all fell through at the time and Spider-Man made his way into Civil War for his first appearance in the MCU. So does the Sinister Six as a group of villains have a future?

According to Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal, it’s still very much on the table. The producer was commenting on a featurette for the Spider-Man: Far From Home home release and she said the following (courtesy of ComicBook.com for the transcript).

“These villains we now have in our universe happen to be characters that are in the Sinister Six,” Pascal says. “There may be something that happens with that.”

Ok, so we have the potential of Vulture, Shocker, Tinkerer, Scorpion and now Mysterio. That’s only five as I’m sure you worked out, but whoever comes up next for Spider-Man: Homecoming 3, could make six? I would say that this is hardly the most memorable Sinister Six set up, because where is Doc Ock for one? Some fans also think Tinkerer isn’t really villain level based on his Homecoming appearance, but who knows where the character could go eventually, maybe it’s Tinkerer who makes all the tech that the other five use to try and beat up a certain Mr Parker?

I’d honestly not expect to see this happen in the third Spider-Man movie in the MCU, but who knows after that, whether in the MCU or without. Would you like to see these characters form a Sinister Six and battle Spider-Man in an upcoming movie? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot below.
