This year will bring Star Wars fans the conclusion of the Skywalker saga. The ninth entry into the story will close out the story one of cinema’s most beloved families. After the sting many fans endured from Rian Johnson’s divisive The Last Jedi, the final entry into Disney’s sequel trilogy hopes to bring the scorned fans back into the fold.

A post on Reddit has sparked debate that the still-untitled Star Wars: Episode IX will revisit a familiar planet. Reddit user [deleted], the image shows a gift from working on the film, included in the gift is a vial of sand.

Gf’s brother worked first unit on Episode XI (Trixie) and gifted me this little haul for Christmas 😎 from r/StarWars

Who would want that as a gift? Personally, I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. From what I can gather from the comments, the other vial contain beans, which according to the person who posted the image, has something to do with, “A Jedi Eater.”

Based off this gift, speculative fans are thinking the upcoming film will return to the planet of Tatooine, the home of both Luke and Anakin Skywalker and where it all began. The reason for this is the original poster even says the sand is “from a sacred place on a familiar planet.” I would say even before this gift, it was a pretty safe bet that Tatooine will be making an appearance in the film, considering the planet’s importance to the story and characters.
