Fans of the upcoming video game Star Wars Hunters will have to wait a little bit longer for its official release.

The third-person arena combat game was announced last year with a target of a late 2022 release. Star Wars Hunters is an attempt to cash in on an Overwatch style of gameplay.  Earlier this year a beta version was tested with a small pool of players that reported a variety of bugs. While the beta testing was short-lived those who got to play were overall pleased with the experience. 

Since the end of the testing, there has been little news about a potential release date until today.  The studio behind Star Wars Hunters Zynga shared an update on their social media accounts that the delay of Star Wars Hunters.

Zynga Studios has a healthy amount of good mobile games it has in its catalog so this news while disappointing to some is probably for the best.  Giving the studio more time will allow the studio to fix some of the issues that came about during the testing session but also improve on some other areas for a better gameplay experience.
