What lightsaber through yonder window breaks? Sorry, now that I got that out of my system, let’s continue. The final Shakespearean adaptation of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is headed your way in The Merry Rise of Skywalker.
The last entry of the medieval Star Wars series from author Ian Doescher will be released on July 28. The novel will tell the story of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker as though it were a piece of work from one of history’s most famous playwrights. Along with the released date, StarWars.com gave us a look at the novel’s cover, you can check it out below.

I had no idea the series existed until I started to write this article, though I am intrigued by the concept. It actually might be something to look into considering the current state of the world that we’re all dealing with. I think this take on the film and the saga as a whole could be quite refreshing. Hearing Rey, Kylo, and the rest speak in a more elegant manner from a more civilized age is something I never knew I wanted.
