As reported by Deadline, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew wraps filming. The upcoming Disney+ series set around the same timeline as The Mandalorian and executive produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. The series will star Jude Law along with a cast of youngsters. The plot will revolve around a young crew with one adult who get lost in space.
The series was created by Jon Watts who also serves as director.
As per Deadline.
Stunt coordinator George Cottle shared a video on Instagram
“That’s a Wrap on Skeleton Crew!! Once again I was lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most amazing stunt performers I have ever worked with!! I fell so lucky to work with you all! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! So so excited for this one!” Cottle captioned the video.
There were reports that not all was honey and roses on the set of Skeleton Crew. However that’s how things go sometimes and as a fan, all i can judge is the end product. For now we don’t have a release date for Skeleton Crew which will no doubt have several months of post-production. However LRM’s best guess based on the seeming release slate is that we’ll see Skeleton Crew in Winter of this year, probably December.
This is a brand new concept for Star Wars, therefore I have no idea what to expect? I look forward to checking it out. Jon Watts has said previously that though the series stars kids, it’s not for kids. So I guess we’ll see once promotion begins.
