In a surprise drop, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire trailer and poster were released later yesterday by Lucasfilm. As far as anyone knew, there would be a second season of Tales of the Jedi, however, we now know this show IS the successor to Tales of the Jedi. Like the aforementioned series, this will be a series of singular stories exploring characters pasts.
As you’ll see by the trailer below, it seems Morgan Elsbeth’s history will be as much of a focus in this show as Dooku was in the previous Tales of the Jedi. Juxtaposed against Barriss Offee this time as opposed to Ahsoka. All six Episodes of Tales of the Empire will be available to stream on Disney + come May 4th. Which, of course is Star Wars day. So, what do you think of the trailer and poster for Star Wars: Tales of the Empire? I thought Tales of the Jedi would be rubbish and I ended up really liking some of the stories.
