Star Wars: The Acolyte has a premiere date pencilled in according to a new report, plus a composer. The news comes from Collider who say the release date is currently only tentative. However, that date is June 5, 2024. Check out what the outlet had to say below.
‘Following our report that the upcoming Star Wars series, The Acolyte, would be launching this summer, Collider has learned The Acolyte is currently slated to debut on Disney+ on June 5, 2024. Disney’s representatives did not deny or confirm our reporting when reached for comment.’
As said, this matches what the industry predicted and this is a Wednesday which follows with Disney’s release schedule. However, some fans had hoped the Leslye Headland created series would arrive on May the 4th. I do think that may be too early, but really that may simply be a call to make for Disney within the next Month or so.

We’ve yet to see an official trailer, though there are bootleg versions out there. We’ve also heard that a trailer is ready and just waiting for Disney to press the button. Hopefully it will hit reasonably soon.
We also have a composer for The Acolyte as Collider reports that Michael Abels, the composer best known for his work alongside Jordan Peele in his three feature films Get Out, Us and Nope, has also been tapped to produce the score for the upcoming series. I’m not sure I’m ever comfortable with any composer but Williams on Star Wars but as per, I’ll judge the end results.
As always, let us know what you think as Star Wars: The Acolyte has a premiere date pencilled in according to a new report, plus a composer? Share any thoughts below as usual.
