Star Wars: The Clone Wars – There Are Reportedly Enough Untold Story Arcs To Produce Another 40 Episodes Of The Show

While it’s true the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has aired in its entirety, it seems there’s still a chance that there may be more Clone Wars content down the road. It’s being reported that as many as 40 untold stories exist. Storylines from the show’s final season were pulled from this unused collection.

Dave “Space Cowboy” Filoni recently gave his thoughts on the possibility of more Clone Wars adventures while speaking with Nerdist. You can check out what he had to say below.

“I don’t know. Personally for me, probably not. I have a lot of things I’m excited that we’re doing looking forward. [I think] it’s hard because I so appreciate the fan support, and I appreciate just how excited everybody was that we were back. I understand them wanting more and more episodes. The people that worked on it — myself and the team, basically all the leads — they were on the original run and I think it shows. We’re really thankful we got to finish it. But I also think creatively, you always want to move forward.”

Some of these unused stories were produced into books and comics. If you’re interested a list of the unused story arcs can be found here.

As I’ve said in several articles, The Clone Wars is some of my favorite Star Wars content, and yes that includes some of the films. The show has the best version of Anakin, No offense to Hayden Christensen (who I actually thought was pretty awesome in Revenge of the Sith).

Tons of cool characters, (Ahsoka Tano (goes without saying) including the super-badass bounty hunter, Cad Bane (please make him part of The Mandalorian, he would fit so well in that world, it would be a shame not to include him.) The Clone Wars also gives fans some intense lightsaber and Force duels. Darth Sidious vs Maul and his brother, Savage Opress. Sidious vs Yoda and Anakin, though it’s not quite what it seems.
