Star Wars: The Last Jedi Is On Its Way To Netflix

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is heading to Netflix. The film is coming to the streaming service next month, with an expected date of June 26. While the film is certified fresh on RottenTomatoes, the audience score leaves something to be desired, sitting at 46 percent. Sure, the film made a ton of money at the box office, but still came in with considerably less than its predecessor, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

With Disney planning to launch their very own streaming service, it’s likely this may be the last Star Wars film to be added to Netflix as the core of Disney’s service is thought to be their catalog of Star Wars and Marvel films, as well as their content for younger viewers.

The film has been both highly praised and criticized for its care of beloved Star Wars characters, namely Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, as well as disregarding the plot lines setup by The Force Awakens. While I have watched the film a several times, it didn’t get better for me as it did with other viewers. I still did not enjoy the film for the most part.

So whether you loved or hated the film, you can check it out on Netflix toward the end of next month.
