Lots of major events happened in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, or so I’ve heard anyway. I still haven’t seen the film and at this point, I’m not sure when I will watch it. Having said that I am bringing you some news that to me is considered spoilery.
Nien Nunb, a pilot for the Resistance, was killed off-screen during the film. Now, while I know who he was, I didn’t know his name, which is odd because I know lots of characters’ names that most fans do not. You can check out a tweet confirming Nunb’s fate below.

The confirmation came via Rae Carson, author of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Expanded Edition, so you can take this confirmation to the bank. Poor guy.
Yes, Mr. Nunb has always been “that guy” to me, and even though I am just learning his name it is a bummer that he died in the film, and from what I hear, the character deserved better than an off-screen death. That is one of the many complaints I’ve heard about the film, again I haven’t seen it, but the reception seems to be mixed, though I hear if you didn’t like The Last Jedi, you will be pleased with Rise of Skywalker, so that’s good for me.
