Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker – New Promo For The Film’s Home Release Puts Faces To The Voices That Spoke To Rey

In a recent interview, Daisy Ridley says she's ready for a Rey return in the upcoming Star Wars sequel currently in development.

The end to the Skywalker Saga saw the trilogy’s heroine, Rey, channel the power of every Jedi that came before her and use it to defeat Emperor Palpatine (for now anyway). Once again restoring balance to the Force in the Eyes of the Jedi. . Before she blasted Palpatine with the combined Force boost of generations of space monks. She heard the voices of many beloved Jedi.

In case you couldn’t pick out who exactly was speaking to her, A tweet from the official Star Wars Twitter account puts faces those voices. You can take a look and a listen down below.

Picking out voices with just the audio? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Child’s play for me, and for all of us here at LRM. I’m guessing most of the site’s readers could as well. However, I assume this is more for the casual fan, and it is a good way to promote the release.

The final battle between Sheen Palpatine and Rey happened a bit too quickly for me. It seemed as if the scene was treated as a formality. The scene where Padmé names Luke and Leia gives me a similar forced feeling. I mean this is the end to Star Wars as we know it (that end actually came long before for me but) and Abrams gave us a little back and forth and then it was done.

Rey and Kylo Ren vs. an almost full-strength Palpatine could have been epic, let Kylo be redeemed by ‘Obi-Waning’ himself during the battle. Palpatine believes he is above needing to use a lightsaber, and is said to only use one to mock the Jedi, but as we all know, has on occasion made use of one.
