Two Rogue One actors are in talks for Cassian Andor show? Not unexpected news, I think it’s fair to say. Read on for more details.
It seems Star Wars characters Bail Organa (Jimmy Smits) and General Draven (Alistair Petrie) are set to appear in the Cassian Andor Star Wars show. According to Bespin Bulletin, both Smits and Petrie are in talks to reprise their Star Wars roles for Cassian Andor. Check it out.

Honestly, I would have been more surprised if these characters didn’t show up in the upcoming show. I think there was a possibility that Cassian Andor could have done without Bail Organa, but not Draven. I always suspected that Draven would be back, wasn’t as sure about Bail. However, with Mon Mothma appearing, I had hoped we would see Bail as well. After all, the show can’t focus on Cassian Andor for six-eight hours alone, can it?. I think the appeal of a show like Cassian Andor is exploring the early days of the Rebellion. The likes of Organa, and Mothma in the background playing both sides of the conflict sounds appealing to me.

I guess I’d like the action to be sparing on the Cassian Andor show, because I’d rather see a tense Cold War type spy thriller. It doesn’t feel like the Rebels would have done anything too large scale, based on how they acted in Rogue One. It would be cool to see the Rebel leaders weighing up some tough options, and being scared of exposure by the Empire. Having the political characters viewpoints explored will make the show more interesting in my opinion. Though, it’s hard to guess exactly how Cassian Andor is going to play out at this stage.
