Steve Carell Is Up For Anchorman 3

Actor Steve Carell has successfully made the journey from goofball to Oscar nominee. While having two very serious movies coming out, most of our first experiences with Carell involve either his Brick character from the Anchorman franchise, or as one of the most iconic television characters ever, Michael Scott from NBC’s The Offiice.

While speaking with Variety about his new film, Welcome to Marwen, in which he plays man on the road to recovery after suffering a brutal attack, the actor was asked if he would be up for a third Anchorman film, you can check out what he had to say below.

“If they make another one, I’ll do another one. Those are really fun. That’s just hanging out with friends and being silly,”

Carell seems more than up for a third adventure, he doesn’t even to really consider it work. Now to get Ferrell, Rudd, and the rest of the gang on board. Carell was also asked if he wold be up for making an appearance on the Ron Burgandy Podcast, here’s what he had to say

“Sure, if he wants me to come in and say some non-sequiturs as Brick, of course. I would in a second,”

While it’s likely that Carell will go on to win an Oscar, to me, and many others, he will always be Michael G. Scott, Regional Manager, Dunder Mifflin Scranton.
