Stranger Things 3 Celebrates Production Start With New Video

We are returning to the Upside-down folks. Well, us fans aren’t making the journey just yet, but the cast and crew of Stranger Things have assembled and production on the third installment of the popular Netflix show has begun. The streaming giant released a video announcement which you can watch above.

The video consists of a long montage of the preparation for the first table read of the season, with the actors’ name cards being placed all the while mysterious 80s style synthesizers play in the background. The video ends the only way it could, with the viewing spinning upside down.

Recently announced, were the additions to the cast of veteran actor Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) and Jake Busey (the son of the legendary Gary Busey) which you can read all about in the related section from LRM‘s head honcho, Joseph Jammer Medina.

The show’s second season, while not particularly bad, was a step down for me personally. It still brought plenty of 80s nostalgia, which was one of the big original selling points of the show, however, it just did hit me the same as the first season. Hopefully, Season 3 will be a return to form and perhaps feature a new monster and let the demogorgans be.
