Stranger Things 4 Table Read Video, Plus This  Great Character Gets Promoted To Series Regular

While the Stranger Things cast may have already been an ensemble one, that hasn’t stopped the producers from continually adding to the cast. Season 2 saw the addition of three major characters, and last season saw the addition of at least one. But just because they’ve been “added” to the main cast doesn’t necessarily mean they’re technically series regulars. In fact, there is one important character who still isn’t billed as a regular.

I’m talking about Murray Bauman, played by the amazing Brett Gelman. Murray was introduced in Season 2 in a fairly big role, and his part in the story was upped significantly in Season 3. Now, it sounds like the Stranger Things writers and producers are doing the right thing and upping his involvement even more in Stranger Things 4.

According to Deadline, Gelman has been promoted to a series regular in the impending season of the series. There is no word on what his character would be doing, but I’m sure it’ll be just as fun and intense as he’s been in the past couple of seasons. As a bit of speculation, if there was one character they could kill off this season from the main cast, this would be it. He’s important enough that it would hurt but not so important that it’d turn off viewers of the show.

But that wasn’t all the news we had of Stranger Things 4. This morning, Netflix released a video showing off the table read for Season 4. As expected, they show off all the main cast members as they set up for what was sure to be an epic table read. Seriously, just look at the row of tables they’d set up. There were a lot of people in attendance.

So far, we have no idea when the show is going to hit, but we could probably take a good guess. So far, they have put out a season every year-and-a-half or so — give or take a few months. The first season came out in July 2016, the second in October of 2017, the third in July of 2019. With that in mind, I’d say October to the holiday season of 2020 is very possible.
