Not getting enough Stranger Things from Netflix? Feel let down with an entire year plus spent away from Hawkins, Indiana? Well, Penguin Random House may have the solution for you!
Deadline reports that Penguin Random House with partner with Netflix on a worldwide publishing deal for books based on Netflix’s most talked about series, Stranger Things.
The first two titles will drop this fall, as there is no new Stranger Things until 2019. One will be a behind-the-scenes companion book and the other is a hardcover gift book for younger readers. The companion book is titled Stranger Things: World Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. The second book offers “advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world,” according to the publisher.

After that, it looks like we’re getting a bit of a Stranger Things Expanded Universe, with a prequel novel following next Spring abut Eleven’s mother and the MKUltra program, written by Gwenda Bond. More titles for adults and young readers will continue later in 2019.
One hopes the Duffer Bros at least wrote the story for any books expanding the universe, as it is their vision that has us all captivated.
