Stranger Things has been a huge hit for Netflix as audiences have taken the events and characters of Hawkins into their hearts over the first two seasons of the show. Season 3 is coming sometime in 2019 and since we are now in December, 2019 isn’t too far off. Previously we had heard the show was delayed until sometime in the summer of 2019, but when exactly is still a mystery.
Netflix has now released a small teaser trailer for Season 3 which I am sure you already watched above. Whilst we still do not have a confirmed specific release date for the show hitting the streaming service (which I had hoped for), they have given us the titles of all episodes of Season 3, so we can speculate a little as us fans like to do.
The titles are as follows; “Suzie, Do You Copy?”, “The Mall Rats”, “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”, “The Sauna Test”, “The Source”, “The Birthday”, “The Bite”, and “The Battle of Starcourt.”
The only thing I can really take from this so far is that the Starcourt Mall seems to be central to the plot of Season 3. One would assume that there could be some strange upside-down related events taking place in this Mall. Netflix has previously released some images and teaser videos of the Starcourt Mall from Season 3, which you can see below.
The final words of the teaser say that Season 3 will take place in the summer of 1985. It seems that much of that summer will be spent in the mall, and no doubt battling interdimensional creatures from the upside-down.
Are you excited to head back to Hawkins for Season 3 of Stranger Things, any predictions about what’s going on at this Starcourt Mall? Sound off as always in the usual place below.
