Superman Fan Nicolas Cage To Voice Character In Teen Titans Go! Film

While some are excited for Warner Bros.’ Teen Titans Go! to the Movies others still just find the show ridiculous. So far we have a trailer and poster to go with the July 27th release date. Along with the existing cast, USA TODAY has revealed who will voice some DC superheroes who will be making cameos in the film.

First up singer & song writer Halsey will be voicing the Amazon warrior princess Wonder Woman and rapper Lil Yachty will be voicing Green Lantern. Now for the most notable name, Nicolas Cage will be providing the voice for his favorite DC character Superman. These are some of the first names revealed that will be lending their voices for this film.

What makes Cage’s role interesting is that he is known as a huge Superman fan. How big? Well he once owned a copy of Superman’s 1938’s comic book debut, which he later sold for $2.1 million. Also he was on board to play Clark Kent in Tim Burton’s 1998 film Superman Lives that never made it to production.

Speaking about casting some of the superheroes for the film executive producer Sam Register said that, “Every superhero in the DC Universe has an impact on the fans, so we felt a great responsibility to find a voice for each character that would not only suit the role, but the playful tone of the Titans, and we’re thrilled with our cameo cast.”

In the film, the Teen Titans are on a quest to find their big break in Hollywood, because like the trailer says “If Aquaman can get a movie, anyone can”. Who do you think should voice certain DC characters? Let us know in the comment section below!
