The casting news and buzz continues to increase the closer we get to the new seasons of The CW shows kicking off which will lead to what they are calling biggest crossover event yet. So yesterday we found out that Michael Rosenbaum will unfortunately not be joining the cast due to various reasons. We have also heard rumors that Lynda Carter may return as Wonder Woman in some way, shape, or form, which would be really awesome! Today Erica Durance (Smallville‘s Lois Lane) and Brandon Routh released some fun photos on Instagram:

Durance’s photo looks to be on set and is awesome for all of us Smallville fans to see the couple back together. Meanwhile, Brandon Routh is teasing his reemergence as The Man of Steel with his trademark curl from 2006’s Superman Returns. Crisis on Infinite Earths looks to be shaping up really well. It seems as if they will be sticking pretty close to the source material, but adjusting it for the characters they have, all while throwing in everything they have from previous TV show and films. This would definitely be another first of its kind, which, if done correctly, would be another nice win for DC TV.
