Here’s the synopsis of the film:

De Brutas, Nada – is a premium series based in contemporary Mexico City about a group of six sophisticated close friends that navigate through every life experience imaginable together: love, lies, heartbreak, marriage, divorce, kids, career, job loss, fights, break-ups, and unbreakable friendships. The modern-day series features a refreshing cast that will make you both laugh, cry, and relate.

Tessa Ia was born in Mexico City and is a third generation actress, Norwegian-Mexican Norvind family. Her mother, Nailea Norvind is a telenovela actress and grandmother Eva Norving was a known actress, director and write. Ia is also a songwriter, composer and singer. She released her latest album, Breve II earlier this year. 

I had a pleasant Zoom conversation with Tessa Ia. She shared how much she enjoyed filming De Brutas, Nada and her joy of having her song, Acicaálame as part of the series. 

De Brutas, Nada is a nine episode series. Can be streamed on Pantaya now exclusively in the U.S and Puerto Rico. Available to binge in full October 8th.
