It’s been quite the journey for James Gunn, after delivering two stellar entries into Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, he hit a huge bump in the road, in the form of being fired from the franchise for a series of old tweets that were deemed offensive. After some time it was announced that Gunn had jumped from Marvel over to DC and would he be heading up a sort of reboot of 2016’s disappointing Suicide Squad.
Gunn’s first effort is now all set and the cast for The Suicide Squad has been finalized. After rumors and speculation, we now know for sure who will be involved in the reboot and you can check out the list below.

Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis, and Joel Kinnaman will return to reprise their respective roles. Idris Elba replaces Will Smith as Deadshot. Daniel Melchior will play Ratcatcher, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, and Steve Agee will voice King Shark. Still no confirmation on who Michael Rooker and John Cena are playing.
